Use standard browsers to tap your home/office PCs remotely from cell phones, PDAs, or any other
Net-enabled devices. And you'll be able to do it with your machine still hidden safely behind a firewall
and NAT
There are all kinds of interesting applications for the open source GoMyPlace daemon, including tunneling any HTTP server connected in the LAN, such as Azureus WEB management or internet enabled microwave, protecting sensitive HTTP servers, and so on. The HTTP server can be behind NAT and corporate firewall and still be accessible via static URLs. The server IP address is hidden behind the goMyPlace reversed proxy and the HTTP server refuses incoming connections, instead using the goMyPlace proxy with its fixed proxy server IP (and SSL and WEP in the future).
